Made from ancient Irish Bog Oak and adorned with a luxurious combination of rhodium and gold titanium trim, this rollerball pen is a meaningful gift that blends Irish tradition with contemporary design. Each pen is hand-turned in our Kells workshop, using wood preserved in Ireland’s boglands for over 5,000 years. The result is a unique writing instrument, rich in character and deeply connected to Irish heritage.

We install a Swiss-made refill and include an extra to ensure you can enjoy the pen from the moment it's received. Compatible standard-sized refills are available from all leading stationers or from our website.

No trees are felled to make our pens—we use only wind-fallen or naturally downed wood. Every pen sold contributes to the planting of a native Irish tree through our partnership with the Tree Council of Ireland, ensuring your gift also nurtures the future of Ireland’s natural landscape.

Handmade oak finished pen gift box upgrade

Elevate your gift with our handcrafted oak finished presentation box, inspired by the artistry of the Book of Kells. Measuring 180mm x 116mm x 45mm, it includes custom walnut pen rests to cradle one or two pens. Handcrafted in Ireland’s heritage capital

Each pen takes three days to complete and is crafted entirely by hand using traditional hand tools. As with all our creations, the pen you receive will be made from the same ancient Irish Bog Oak as pictured, but no two are ever alike. The wood’s distinctive grain and texture ensure that your pen is truly one of a kind.
