We created our Feadán (fa-don) pen range to elevate everyday writing into a personal, tactile experience. Inspired by the simple form and flowing function of a tube—feadán in Irish—each pen is a channel for expression, reflection, and connection. The minimalist silhouette honours the raw beauty of the Irish wood, allowing the pen’s heritage and craftsmanship to take centre stage.

Crafted from ancient Irish Bog Oak

The wood in this pen is over 5,000 years old—older than the Pyramids—preserved naturally in Ireland’s boglands for millennia. Rich in texture and steeped in history, each piece of Bog Oak is completely unique. Handcrafted in our Kells workshop, every pen is a story of time, nature, and Irish heritage.

Fitted with a premium Swiss-made rollerball refill and secured with a minimalist cap, this pen glides effortlessly across the page. Whether used for correspondence, signatures, or journaling, its performance is as exceptional as its design. We include a spare refill for convenience.

Handcrafted in Ireland’s heritage capital

This pen takes three days to complete using only hand-held tools, allowing us to reveal the natural detail and character of each piece of Bog Oak. The pen you receive will be as unique as the one pictured—crafted from the same ancient wood, but with its own story, grain, and distinction.
