The Feadán (pronounced fa-don) fountain pen is inspired by the Irish word for tube—a shape that represents uninterrupted flow. True to its name, the Feadán is a tactile conduit designed for those who value the expressive journey of writing. This pen is handcrafted from Irish Oak, a wood steeped in myth and cultural significance. Known as the “King of the Forest,” the Irish Oak has long symbolised truth, wisdom, and courage in Celtic mythology. Revered by the Druids, its name is reflected in the word Duir, the Celtic root for door, believed to be a gateway to higher knowledge and divine energy.

The unique grain and golden-brown tones of the Irish Oak, along with its natural durability, make it the perfect medium for a pen that will be cherished for generations. Every Feadán is turned, sanded, and finished to enhance the wood’s distinctive character—no two pens are alike.

The Feadán fountain pen is fitted with a high-quality German-made iridium-tipped size 6 medium nib, delivering a smooth, expressive writing experience.

Each pen is supplied with both a black ink cartridge and a reusable ink converter for those who prefer bottled ink.
