Feadán Fountain Pen – Handmade from Irish Burled Elm

The Feadán (Irish for “tube”) fountain pen is a celebration of simplicity, purpose, and Irish heritage. With its clean, minimalist profile and tactile tubular form, this handmade writing instrument invites a seamless connection between hand, heart, and page. It honours the expressive legacy of Irish writing while embracing a design that quietly commands attention.

Each pen is crafted from exceptionally rare Burled Irish Elm, harvested from the midlands and reclaimed from a retired clockmaker's 30-year-old stockpile. Only a small portion of this Elm was burled, creating swirling, unpredictable patterns of grain and colour—chaotic, beautiful, and unlike anything else. No two pens will ever be alike.

The Feadán’s cap aligns elegantly with the barrel, encouraging a satisfying ritual every time the cap is posted. Its smooth cylindrical silhouette is as playful to hold as it is elegant to display—whether resting on a desk or accompanying a meeting notebook.

The Feadán fountain pen features a German-made size 6 medium iridium point steel nib for smooth, fluid writing.
Accepts international standard ink cartridges & converters.
