Terms of Service

At Irish Pens, we love what we do. Our mission is to give every customer not just a great experience, but one that exceeds expectations. These terms outline what you can expect when shopping with us.


1. Shipping & Delivery

  • Origin: All handmade pens and related products are crafted and shipped from our workshop in Ireland. Accessories and refills may be dispatched separately.
  • Responsibility: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, Irish Pens is responsible for your purchase until it is delivered or an attempted delivery has been made. After that point, responsibility passes to the recipient.
  • Carrier: We only use An Post (Ireland’s National Postal Service). For added protection, we recommend selecting Track & Trace Shipping.
  • Missed Deliveries: If An Post leaves a missed delivery note, it is the customer’s responsibility to follow the instructions provided.

2. Tracking & Proof of Delivery

  • Ireland: Online door-to-door tracking is available for all registered deliveries.
  • International: Tracking confirms the date a package left Ireland. Confirmation of delivery in the destination country may require cooperation with the local postal service.
    • An Post advises that proof of delivery abroad is normally available within 21 days, but may take up to 60 days.
    • If An Post confirms that a package was delivered or an attempted delivery was made, Irish Pens has fulfilled its delivery obligations.
    • If An Post confirms a package as officially lost, we will replace the item with a like-for-like product. The timeframe for this process is dependent on An Post.

3. Fair Shipping Costs

We believe in transparent, fair pricing. Unlike some sellers, we don’t inflate shipping fees to offset lower product prices.


4. Taxes & Duties

Customers are responsible for any local taxes, customs duties, or import charges that may apply in the delivery country.
