The wooden body of your pen was hand-turned, the pen was assembled and posted all from our workshop in Ireland's heritage capital of Kells County Meath by Catherine & Richard Daly.
- The wood in your pen:
The wood in this pen comes from an Irish Whiskey oak barrel decommissioned from the world-famous distillery in Midleton Co. Cork, where they make the Jameson and Middleton Irish whiskey brands.
The colour of the oak has a lovely reddish hue to it, which comes from the years the whiskey and the oak barrel have interacted to produce the flavours and colours that make this Irish whiskey world famous. Now, you can hold that history in your hands every time you use your pen.

- How to change the refill

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the next best time is now.
The pen case:
We supply your pen in a stylish black pen case that will protect your pen and ensure it is always at hand for use. We moved away from single-use pen boxes because putting a pen box in the bin is not part of our philosophy to reduce waste wherever possible.
