The wooden body of your pen was hand-turned, assembled, and posted, all from our workshop in Ireland's heritage capital, Kells County Meath, by Catherine & Richard Daly. 

  • The wood in your pen:

This pen is crafted from oak that once formed part of an Irish whiskey barrel, decommissioned from the legendary distillery in Midleton, County Cork—the home of the world-renowned Jameson and Midleton Irish whiskeys.

Over the years, as the golden spirit rested within, the oak absorbed its rich character, leaving behind a deep, warm reddish hue — a testament to the craft, time, and tradition that shaped it. That same oak now lives on in your hand, a piece of Irish whiskey heritage, ready to write the next chapter of its story.

  • The trim of your pen:
The trim is Gold with chrome accents, which complements the beautiful colours in the Irish Whiskey Oak wood.

 

  • The refill in your pen:

Your pen is a rollerball pen using an international-sized rollerball refill. The refill, with its water-based ink, delivers an excellent, easy writing experience. The rollerball's advantage is its super-smooth ink flow, allowing your words to glide onto the paper. It dries quickly and is not prone to smudging.
