When the Pen Replaces the Laptop or Tablet

Our good friend Des Doherty recently wrote a thoughtful article on something very close to our hearts here at Irish Pens — the importance of slowing down and writing by hand in an increasingly digital world.

As people who spend our days crafting writing pens from Irish wood, we found ourselves nodding along to so much of what Des had to say about creativity, mindfulness, and the personal connection that comes from putting pen to paper.
