Our specially selected bo oak complements the highest jewellery grade Rhodium and Titanium finishes to produce our Woodland writing set of fountain pen and rollerball pen. We have installed a Peter Bock made nib in the fountain pen and an all Swiss-made rollerball refill with Swiss ink and Swiss components to ensure that both pens deliver the best possible writing experience. Replacement rollerball refills are available worldwide as are Peter Bock nibs. We also stock them on our website.

NEW SOLID IRISH OAK PEN BOX

Presenting a high-quality handmade writing pen for an extraordinary occasion requires an exceptional pen box. Our clients worldwide have asked us for a wooden gift/presentation box for our pens. We are reluctant to sell Rosewood boxes anymore because of Rosewoods status as an endangered species.

So to satisfy our clients, we have worked with a local master cabinetmaker to craft a solid wooden pen box handmade in Cavan from Irish Oak. Irish Oak, the "King of the forest", was the obvious choice for us as it represents many Irelands qualities. 

Using real solid Irish oak with its unique wood grain and the colour is your guarantee that, like our wooden pens, the box is as unique as your fingerprints.  

We engrave your words directly into the Irish Oak. Place your words in the dialogue box that pops out when adding this pen box to the cart. If you have any special text requests or perhaps a logo you would like engraved, please email or call us any time to discuss.

The box is 180mm long, 70mm wide and 50mm high; it is handmade so that each box will have a +/- 3/4mm. It is 220 gm in weight (without the pen, to reaffirm this box will hold any of our pens or pen sets, but they must be ordered separately), The inner bottom of the box is lined with a green baize fabric, and we place an Irish Oak pen rest in the centre of the box. We can install two rests to accommodate a set of handmade pens. The hinges are an antique brass finish and are screwed to the box by hand. The box is sealed with a coat of lacquer so as not to hide any of the woods natural beauty.

We engrave our registered "The Trees" trademark on the lid of the box. The box is wrapped in branded tissue paper and then wrapped in a recyclable card to protect it during shipping. This is a 100% environmental option for that exceptional pen gift box.

The pen pictured was handmade by us, your pen will be of the same wood, as no two wood pieces are the same that is your certainty that your pen will be totally unique. Like the pen pictured we will select the most interesting wood to craft your pen from. It takes us about 3 days to craft a pen.
