A pen you will be proud to own or gift. A unique writing pen (or pencil) is delightfully different and a real conversation starter. The Irish wood colour and grain are your guarantee the pen is as individual as your fingerprints; no two can ever be precisely the same.
The user will love how the pen feels in hand; its 38-gram weight is positive, and the look and smooth touch of the jewellery grade Rhodium and Black Tititunm platings are luxurious, an individually crafted gift that will be enjoyed and forever will be linked to the recipient and the gifter.
This pen is made with Irish Grown Elm, a rare wood in itself, but we have taken this pen one step further by using BURLED Irish Elm. The Elm came originally from the midlands of Ireland; we got the wood from a clockmaker who retired and had lots of Elm over 30 years in his stores, too small for his work but perfect for our pens. Only a tiny proportion of the wood was burled, making your pen special, rare and unique! The grain and colour of this wood are so beautiful; you could say that the patterns are manic, and nothing makes sense, making it so rare and so different.
Our handmade wooden Grove pen could be that perfect gift to yourself or that particular person, so if you are thinking, "Maybe I should," please do!
Sustainability is high on everyone’s agenda; by using one of our handmade pens and only replacing the refill, you help the environment by not contributing to the BILLIONS of plastic biros that go to landfills every year.
Takes standard international Parker-style ink refills
We fit an all-Swiss component and Swiss ballpoint ink refill (only the best for your pen)
In the pencil format, we exchange the ink refill for a lead dispensing cartridge

The pen pictured was handmade by us; your pen will be of the same wood, as no two wood pieces are the same; that is your certainty that your pen will be unique. Like the pen pictured, we will select the most exciting wood to craft your pen from. It takes us about three days to prepare a pen.
