Using a letter opener to open a letter is a more refined and deliberate method compared to tearing it open with your hands and those possible paper cuts!! It involves a certain level of etiquette and ceremony, especially when dealing with formal or important correspondence, as it preserves the integrity of the envelope and its contents. It also reduces the risk of accidentally damaging valuable information or documents.
It is also a bit of fun.

I ordered the Whiskey Oak version of the letter opener and requested a small engraving also which turned out lovely. The handle is smooth and the blade is sleek. It comes in a compact box with an information card about the wood so it is perfect for gift giving. Would definitely recommend!

I prefer two different types of woods. One was a little darker than I would have like the other I LOVE. Maybe I missed it on website but didn’t see a guide to finished products
